HOW TO READ THE SCALE
A broad orientation, not a verdict.
The five positions are Left, Lean left, Center, Lean right, and Right, interpreted in a U.S. political context. Left includes socialist orientations; lean left includes liberal and reformist progressive orientations. Lean right captures a documented rightward orientation with mixed or limited evidence; right includes explicit conservative orientations. Neither endpoint means extremist.
Placements draw on public self-descriptions, interviews, and attributed reporting. Mapping those sources onto this scale is our editorial judgment, not a statistical measurement. High confidence means an explicit self-description or converging evidence; moderate reflects reported orientation or older evidence; limited is provisional. Unrated means there is not enough evidence to place a marker—it does not mean center.
Hosting platform, audience demographics, religion, appearance, and a single uncontextualized clip do not determine a rating. We do not infer private beliefs. The directory is a dated research snapshot. Shared show accounts and shared audiences are labeled separately from personal accounts. Unrated profiles have been reviewed but lack sufficient evidence for a scale placement. Platform pages that did not expose metadata were corroborated through public links or search results. Each account lists that provenance.
